This is a family hotel with a great restaurant. I was unhappy with the actual sleeping arrangement we had, as opposed to what was advertised. A sleeping couch was advertised, but we got a rickety unfolding chair with a musty cover and no sheets to speak of. Very disappointing. Also, we had at least an equivalent of five stories of stairs to climb - with no handrails. Not good.

Porto Rotundo is a very chic village on a marina with lots of yachts and boats. It has lots of lovely restaurants and bars and a few shops. It is fabulous for people watching as there are all nationalities, everyone friendly and dresses up very nicely especially in the evenings. There are 2 beaches which you can walk to within 20mins, or there is a free regular shuttle bus to take and bring back. I would highly recommend IRA Beach Club on Ira beach - lovely loungers, showers, beautiful beach and fantastic food. My only down point is that it is a very expensive area, and food and drink tended to be more expensive than in London - it was very good quality though!

Te amo tanto The Local Porto Rotondo! Under the carefully curated care of Mark, Maria, and Stefano, we gained a family during our time here by the Sea. Because of its intimate size, The Local is able to create a truly bespoke experience. We were grateful to receive perfetta quantita di attenzione. Our local famiglia anticipated whatever we needed, whether it was remembering what we ordered for breakfast, directing us to the best beach on a windy day, or helping us book a last minute boat tour of archipelago Maddalena during the high season.
My favorite thing about our stay, aside from the luxurious comfortable rooms and beautiful hotel grounds, was the people. The Local staff anticipated just what we needed, right now. The Local restaurant also serves fresh seafood, juices, and delicious cuisine made with careful attention to detail and served with love and pride.
All of these little details created a home away from home and a place we will return to for rejuvenation and a reunion di famiglia.

An elegant town in Costa Smeralda, beautiful marina corso, plenty nice beaches around. We especially liked I Marinai bistro at the end of marina, the busy Ira beach with emerald water and a bar serving an excellent macchiato and blanc de blanc prosecco. In the evening, we enjoyed the quiet Punta Volpe beach.

Porto Rotondo is quite small but there are plenty of good restaurants. The prices reflect to some extent the clientele of the area (Berlusconi, Abramovich etc.) so pizzas, which cost about 6 euros in Olbia, are 2 to 3 times that in Porto Rotondo; we found a little restaurant slightly off the beaten track called Maryton, the food was great and prices reasonable, and the owner is really friendly - recommended. PR is not exactly Porto Cervo but the clientele is quite trendy...
Lots of nice beaches nearby and a free shuttle bus (Maremare) to get you there. If you have a car you can use PR as a base to visit the area - enjoy!

I believe we were at the start of the season there, so it was very quiet. The marina is beautiful, especially at night and the service in the restaurants was top class. Meals were a bit expensive if you went for 'fish of the day' for example, but the pizzas were incredible and good value.
Not a great deal to do in the town, but then it was only a base for exploring from.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Giglio apartment. It's in a central location in Porto Rotondo, only a few minutes walk into the town center and all of the restaurants. There is free parking, plenty of space, two full bathrooms w/ shower, a kitchen that we used to make breakfast in daily, and the loveliest roof terrace. We went out there most evenings with a glass of wine before our dinner to enjoy the sunset. A special thank you for accommodating our late check in request and then even later check-in when our flight was delayed!
By far our best stay at Sardinia! Thank you Matteo for being such a warmly, knowledgeable host: always at our service, splendid tips and bookings for nice local restaurants, organizing an amazing boat tour to spot beautiful dolphins, surprising us with a splendid boat trip to the beautiful La Maddalena archipel, and your fantastic location - well equipped, well designed - with a unique view on the bay of Marinella. You and Ray made us feel welcome, cozy and relaxed from the very first second. Already looking forward to return -)
A wonderful place to rewind and relax completely. As soon as you enter the hotel they make you feel like a king. The room was nice, big, and clean. The staff was super helpful. The food was really great! Both the breakfast and the dinner. You also have the option to choose one of three restaurants for dinner, 2 of which are included in the half-board package. The private beach was also very great.
We liked how modern and clean the property was. The location was good for travelling around the north. Everything was comfortable. The owners are lovely people, who even brought us some local Sardinian pastries after a power outage that was no fault of their own (there was a massive storm in the area) and they were quick to respond and restore power. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.
We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Domus Corallia-Luxury Rooms. The spacious, immaculately clean room/bathroom with a comfortable bed and delightful Italian breakfast by host Camillo made for a perfect experience. Highly recommended for its excellent location, cleanliness, service, and value!
We loved this location. It was in a fabulous spot right near the port which was beautiful. The rooms were very clean and the shower was exceptional. Eduardo was very helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to visit Sardinia.
Stunning views of Marinella bay can be enjoyed from this exceptional apartment situated in a semi-detached house. The infinity pool and other amenities provided offer an ideal opportunity to relax and unwind while exploring the beautiful island of Sardinia.
The location is exceptionally beautiful and the hotel is excellent. The room was perferct, the bed very comfortable, nice bathroom and very nice view. The staf was very friendly and helpful. Would recomend this hotel.
Lido was a great host and touched base with us almost every day. His place is amazing at very nice area of Porto Rotondo and close by to the beach and Porto Cervo and other beaches. We had an amazing time 🌞
Lovely, as pictured
Attentive staff, at desk all day and night
Great breakfast
Lovely pool with some bar service
Could not be closer to porto rotondo restaurants etc and town plus 20min walks to beaches
Perfect location in Porto Rotondo. Exceptionally well outfitted. Sebastiano was charming and wonderful and responded to all our needs perfectly: one of the best places we’ve rented.
A private beach just steps away with great snorkeling! The staff is on top of everything providing excellent service. Plenty of details that make it extra special. Great hotel!
Our host was exceptional. The breakfast was outstanding and the property was like dream. I will tell everyone heading to Sardinia to stay here because it is so wonderful!
The location was excellent near to the center and all shops and supermarkets.
