Villasimius was clean and well organized with a lively town centre. The town was charming and the surrounding countryside was beautiful. Our favourite beaches were Cala Pira, Cala Sinzias and Punta Molentis.

I’ve been many rimes.
I’ve been many rimes. My main criticism is the cost of taxis. They are a rip off. Apparently there is only one main taxi firm in town. We were charged €25 for a cab for a journey of about 2 1/2 miles to the hotel.

The beaches are spectacular.
The beaches are spectacular. Nice choice of restaurants in the town, although the town centre doesn’t have the charm and character of other Italian towns we’ve visited, but it’s lively in the evening and you can get a decent meal.

Villasimius is a nice village, connected to a lot of beaches. There is a summer bus which is very punctual and can take you to different beaches. A quiet village which has some nice cafes, bars and restaurants, which are open all day.

We really enjoyed the quietness and low-key vibe of the area...
We really enjoyed the quietness and low-key vibe of the area! If there is anything we would have wished for, it would be to have a couple of restaurants in closer proximity to the appartment. But, seeing as this probably would have ruined the low-key vibe, we really would not wish for anything else 😍

We fell in love with Villasimius. We will be back.
We fell in love with Villasimius. We will be back. Walking distance of the beautiful beach or a short bus ride. The bus will take you around to other beaches too. The restaurants catered for tastes. The main square has a beautiful bar cafe with table service only. We sat and watched the world go by. Lots of tasteful shops and boutiques. Everything we needed and throughly enjoy our stay. Can’t wait to book again
- variety and quality of breakfast. Nice decoration as well.
- coffee was great!
- modern, fully equipped.
- silent A/C (quiet mode)
- location location location. 5-10 minutes away from amazing beaches. We liked each one more than the previous.
- nice town, take a walk through the main street during the night, what a great atmosphere. Plenty of restaurants (most need reservation unless you eat early (~7pm) or late (after 9pm)
- easy parking available nearby.
- courtesy water, iced tea, among others provided.
This is a breathtaking resort! I fell in love with my elegant room and picturesque balcony view. The resort delivers on all counts, from the beach, grounds, excursions (sailing with Maby Mare is a must-do), hospitality, generous food offerings, spa, complimentary yoga, and overall atmosphere make this resort a top pick. Just be advised that the resort caters to young families. Will I return? Absolutely! But I will visit off-season as, at my age, I seek a more tranquil and serene atmosphere.
We visited the place as part of our honey moon and the staff prepared us a very nice surprise, which made us feel very welcome. The room is spacious enough and really cozy. The bathroom was also fine size and condition. There was also a balcony with a nice spot to sit. Overall, we really liked the stay. The staff helped us with advices what beaches to visit and prepared for us Italian breakfast. The place is also in walking distance from the center..
Staying at this hotel was one of our highlights of our whole trip. The Hotel Simius Playa has an old school charm that you can see enchants people to return year after year. The environment, service and staff are fantastic, and the close location to the gorgeous beach means it is so easy to have a relaxing holiday. I couldn't recommend this hotel more highly.
Great value for price with an extra italian touch of professionalism and passion for the trade. Within walkable distance from the town centre and the nearest beach. Comfortable big room, nicely soothing decoration, spotless clean, great view, luxurious bathroom linen and delicious breakfast. All with little extra touches that make your stay extra comfy.
Everything had been thought about - every little detail. It was amazing. It was such a well equipped home and with a family we were very grateful for the washing machine, dishwasher, beach toys, games and so much more. Communication was excellent and the owner really friendly. The location was perfect to walk into Villasimius. Highly recommend.
Apartment was obsessively clean, perfect attention to the detail to retrieve the Sardinian atmosphere and absolutely lovely landlady. She speaks Italian only, but she is so easy going that you’ll understand her for sure without knowing Italian at all. One thing to remember- Sardinian breakfast is very sweet 😁
Andrea the house owner was super nice and organized/helpfull, perfect location in the center of Villasimius and great for riders (bikes can stay safe in the garden), the ac can be powerfull enough to be used for all the rooms with doors open. The wind can be also enough during the night.
Very, very nice place to stay! It's a modern & stylish hotel and breakfast is delicious with homemade healty bread, zucchini omelettes, fresh fruits and several sweet specialities from Sardinia. The owner family is a host with heart and soul.
The location was perfect for the town and the beach. The hotel itself is extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated and maintained but maintains a relaxed, laid back atmosphere. The staff were fantastic.
We loved everything about our stay, super helpful and friendly staff, very clean , excellent food and close enough to beach and Villasimius, whilst feeling suitably ‘remote’ and restful
Clean hotel situated in the centre but no noise from the streets. Friendly stuff. Delicious and various breakfast (nonsweet options as well which is hard to get in Italy).
Location of the hotel was great, so close to the beach and walkable distance to the main town.
Super helpful staff, lovely breakfast and beautiful setting in Sardinia.
Spacious, clean apartman 5 minutes from town center and with Villasimius beach bus the nearby beaches can be reached very quickly and easily. No need to rent a car.
